Here are some of the glass blown vessels I have made. Please feel free to leave a comment of my work and what you think of it. which ones do you consider to be more successful? etc. Again my work has been priced to show the price point of my work. This is also a guideline for potential clients I meet at New Designers London. A disclaimer to say my blog is not my platform to sell my work, it is solely used to portfolio my work while my website is under construction.

Destruction, Manipulation and Transformation

Third year has been an incredible year and to find out all my tears and hard work have paid off with me achieving a first, I am one happy maker! Graduating!

So on the 14th of June I found out that I will be graduating from Nottingham Trent University with First class Honours!!!! Over the moon is an understatement! Very proud of myself and all of my fellow Decorative Arts group. Bring on the 22nd July!

Playing with Platinol to see how it oxidises with the copper. The chemical reaction between the too with an added bit of water on the brush forms all these beautiful textures and has a form of movement to the piece.

These spoons were so much fun to make! I am incredibly pleased with the outcome, beautifully made! I never thought I would have such an obsession with these spoons as I do now, so much fun!! More photos to come.

Inspired by the exterior texture of the Selfridges building in Birmingham City UK. The bobbles formed using plaster 'macaroons' which I have formed to not look the same so they have more character and excitement.

A photo of me setting up a kiln ready for my glass to be slumped, firing schedule up to 660 degrees. fingers crossed this baby works!
